I dont think its just international carrier issue.

Seems local issues also. Cloudflare response that should hit a local ZA cloudflare node is returning USA cloudflare node and for some reason to make matters worse it goes from SA -> LON -> USA ? wtf ?

The origination of the high ping seems to be starting locally at the coolideas hop not on london hop ?

Am I missing something, is that first coolideas.co.za hit in SA or in London and if its in London why are we being routed from SA -> LON -> USA ?

Carrier issue to London this morning, we have also moved the SACS stuff so that it helps with traffic destined for London/Europe not to route via SACS.

So when are you cutting over to the new carrier?

Cloudflare is rerouting currently but I think CISP is adding to the problem somehow. Cloudflare would be rerouting to JHB peer yet CPT is rerouting CPT -> LON -> USA

Right, not sure why that would be the case considering JHB Cloudflare is not having issues.

We should be routing to JHB peer, weird.

EDIT: Nevermind looks like entire South Africa cloudflare network is being re-routed.
