I am also getting terrible speeds on my 100 mb open serve line with cool ideas tonight. Really wish they offered 24/7 support as i cannot stream anything at this rate.

Seems to be the reason F1 2019 keeps crashing. The amount of wasted effort in repeating a race, only to see it crash again before the result is saved, is extremely frustrating.
Are you in Cape Town?

Dont know if he was in Cape Town, but i am and my internet was also basically unusable last night. Could not even stream Showmax.
Will check this today for you.
Same here, last night Cape Town was dead at 7 mb on an 100mb openserve line from about 19:30, this morning went back to normal. Logged a ticket last night but no update on the ticket as to what the issue was. Back to 98mb this morning.

@PBCool This morning I noticed my NNTP downloads were back to crappy speed again. Did an MTR to news-us.newshosting.com and I see it's now being routed via Cogent, which would explain it. When we previously discussed it, it was routed via HE and I was getting full speed.

So two things - firstly, it seems obvious to me at least that something's going on with Cogent, as this is now the same NNTP server from two different routes, Cogent being unreliable and HE giving line speed.

Secondly - can you make the US servers route via HE again? The dismal download speeds on NNTP are depressing.

Looks like there is something up with certain EU/US routes at the moment. Going through JHB first and second example going through JHB -> LON -> NYC

Hey, could I get CISP to check order request from Link Africa? They have apparently requested service that I ordered on the 27th (Thursday last week) through Link Africa’s website. Thank you.

I did not have proof, but last time I also started suspecting something was a bit off on cogent. I also noticed some slowdown on NNTP again lately. Last time I managed to find an iperf server that routed across cogent and the iperf results also looked weird, very high packetloss on speeds faster than 20mbps, zero packetloss on slower speeds if I recall correctly. I can't run it now, but I think it was an iperf to -p 5207 -c ping-ams1.online.net. It was fine for a good few weeks.
