And again about 5 minutes later (08h42). I'm using the Cloudflare DNS (1.1.1.1 and 1.0.0.1) so I will change that to the Coolideas DNS and see if that helps.

Happened again at 08h35 - around 2 minutes. SADV, Edenburg (Rivonia)

Code:
Last login: Fri Mar 27 01:04:04 on console

Octarine:~ XXX$ ping 8.8.8.8
PING 8.8.8.8 (8.8.8.8): 56 data bytes
64 bytes from 8.8.8.8: icmp_seq=0 ttl=56 time=4.318 ms
64 bytes from 8.8.8.8: icmp_seq=1 ttl=56 time=4.258 ms
64 bytes from 8.8.8.8: icmp_seq=2 ttl=56 time=2.828 ms
-- snip

What's interesting is that my streaming from Apple Music was not interrupted - I'm going to speculate it's a DNS thing ...

I have two ISP accounts on openserve - one on cool ideas and the other a pre-paid on afrihost. I use the latter as a fail-over. I can see all those guys who left cool ideas for greener pastures are now suffering. Its 11am and they are already starting with packet loss. Cool ideas is steady.

How do you get these stats, do you need a dedicated pc or change the network setup?

Looks like our 2nd interface to NAP is flapping in JHB, we are discussing with them. But it's disabled for now.

This seems to be the cause of the disconnects.
I see NAP Africa traffic is peaking already. Over 100Gbps higher than same time yesterday. o_O

For those getting ERR_QUIC_PROTOCOL_ERROR when loading pages. Just google on how to disable it.

QUIC uses UDP to load pages faster, but if you have a totally useless FNO like me (Octotel), it is likely to encounter at least 1 lost packet when loading a page, which will just break the page.

I have seen this happen a lot on https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/

Slow speeds internationally, noticed on several different sites while downloading via HTTP

My line speed is a third of what is should and used to be.
Last night I was dropping and getting disconnected from Call of Duty games the whole evening.
