Exactly that. AWS also uses their own (cheapest transit). So with WACS down, you will see additional latency even with us peering with them directly.

All good on Octotel in the Southern Suburbs, even played a few rounds of Warzone without any issues.

Funnily enough mine seems to default to 720p.

Bit difficult to segment since it's all served from the same google clusters.

haven't noticed any hiccups here. not a gamer and we dont monitor latency and packet loss. the light switches at our house sometimes require international connectivity so we're usually immediately aware of any degradation of service
