must say torrents are very slow tonight not getting past the 50Mbps mark average 30Mbps
I don't really TT, since one can stream (cough) most of what one want these days, but I have done so for two other things I wanted recently.

What I do is to download the .torrent file and then let real-debrid download it (which is most cases happens almost instantly if seeded well) and then grab the download via IDM (Internet Download Manager) and it then flies at full speed.

I normally do this for all TT needs normally, but tested it a day or so ago after the cable break and worked very well.

Just an option to consider.

Will have gone through the process already. Please see if using trcprx01.cisp.co.za:3128 as a HTTP/HTTPS proxy helps your situation at all as a band-aid.

Caveat: it might break speedtest.net due to how they do their Websocket stuff, but try speedtest.co.za or other options.

Edit: whilst 80ms local latency is pretty bad, it's not the worst. The loss etc seems to be more problematic.

Edit: the things we do to work past crippled FNO's :cautious:

Really appreciate the work you guys are doing

Using us-trcprx01.cisp.co.za:3128 as proxy doesn't seem to work at all. Also, can't ping nor traceroute to it as I'm unable to resolve the URL. PS: I am using Cool Ideas DNS.

Update on the current situation regarding traceroute to 1.1.1.1:

Still looks to be taking the national ring to get to CPT.

I have a good mind to send out comms that we are NOT doing upgrades. People getting angry about a free upgrade. fek really?
Yeah - because business' reneging always strengthens client relationships and their confidence in you. Great strategy. Do it. If not just for the laughs. Send out that email saying it was an April Fools joke -you know you want to. :)

@TheRoDent @PBCool can you please get this to octotel asap? They say Fibre line break. They just need you to log a ticket with them to send out the tech. Please acknowledge.
