Yeah our AM is investigating.@PBCool I just got this from my sister here in George as well. ADSL with Afrihost as you mentioned earlier. Something odd with backhaul from George to CPT.

We will consider this once the Vumatel and FF networks are complete, staggered approach.@PBCool - Will cool ideas be upgrading SADV lines for the lockdown?
SADV says its ISP specific/dependant.
PM me your account username?
No dice - did a test before and after resetting the PPPoE :/
Much appreciated @PBCoolYeah our AM is investigating.
Thank you for helping ..... Ticket 405049 .....done speed test on phone / linux pc / win pc / tabletWhat is your ticket ref so I can investigate? And that's a cabled device you are testing with?
Vumatel let them know late last night only 10megs are being upgraded today and if everything goes smooth tomorrow the rest will be doneI am on 50/5, was expecting 100 but I am getting the same speed. Restared the router and CPE, do I need to do anything else to get the upgraded speed ?

Seems this ticket number doesn't exist?Thank you for helping ..... Ticket 405049 .....done speed test on phone / linux pc / win pc / tablet

Yeah yours has been fixed already? Still stuck at 200?Done.
I have not connected my laptop directly and PPPoE out yet, but I do have a Mikrotik as my gateway. And did a traceroute this morning from the it to 1.1.1.1
Cool Ideas Fibre ISP – Feedback Thread 3
We got comms last night that Vumatel are only upgrading the 10Mbps packages first (today), then if all goes well the rest tomorrow. OKmybroadband.co.za
We don't do DHCP on Frogfoot, only PPPoE. The settings to allow for higher speeds have been changed on our side, so the rollout is under FF control.Lots of people in my area have been reporting upgraded speeds for 2 days - going to bypass my router, connect directly to the CPE and get DHCP, instead of establishing a PPPoE session to see if that works.
Yeah yours has been fixed already? Still stuck at 200?
Can you please try this just to rule out any local issues ?
Edit: nevermind saw your screenshot about ADSL too. Clearly an openserve thing. Our GM has escalated it to our brand new account manager at Openserve, but she is very new. All the old ones have taken VR packages it seems.
Too early to tell but long term SADV customers will be migrated to Vumatel packages.Hi,
@PBCool , currently using SADV as the FNO. How will the merger with Vumatel impact us? Pricing? Guessing this is a good thing from the industry stand point?
Tried Real Debrid got annoyed with a download being broken up one day so done with them.I don't really TT, since one can stream (cough) most of what one want these days, but I have done so for two other things I wanted recently.
What I do is to download the .torrent file and then let real-debrid download it (which is most cases happens almost instantly if seeded well) and then grab the download via IDM (Internet Download Manager) and it then flies at full speed.
I normally do this for all TT needs normally, but tested it a day or so ago after the cable break and worked very well.
Just an option to consider.
been using RD for 7 years, no issues, barring the odd server being offline, then i just download torrent again on RD to get another server.Tried Real Debrid got annoyed with a download being broken up one day so done with them.
Torrents have been fine otherwise just last night it was weird
I downloaded something big around 70GB the one day then it split the download into 20 files or something not thanks..been using RD for 7 years, no issues, barring the odd server being offline, then i just download torrent again on RD to get another server.
