I downloaded something big around 70GB the one day then it split the download into 20 files or something not thanks..
Had to download 4 at a time or something

Plus right now my RSS feeder does everything by itself for me

I see Metro Fibre has a 400/200Mbps line speed too.

Looks like Seacom is still up for me (on Rocketnet) based on a traceroute, must just be specific pairs or something else

On SA NREN's network map it shows 1 seacom port as up

Yup, still stuck on 200.
I won't take up more of your time for now - maybe it's an issue on Frogfoot's side (maybe only upgrading some people in my area), but the 200mbps is still coming through fine - I'm sure there are other fires that need fighting :)
Your queues are definately adjusted for 500mbps, confirmed on your PPPoE session -- so up to them.

Wow okay yeah CISP is charging me R1799 for that 200/200Mbps line.
Wonder why the pricing is so erratic

Even normal MFN on their site has that goodness, but i donno hey CISP is gold
Plus these are not symmetric ?

Hi CI team

With the merger of SADV and Vumatel, will we on SADV also benefit from the free double speed upgrades which Vumatel have been rolling out?

WACS Outage Update: Initial splicing completion expected by 17:00 UTC today. The planned repair completion has shifted forward slightly to Friday afternoon, 03/04/2020, but is subject to change.

@PBCool @TheRoDent I realise there is a lot of chaos this morning, but when should I get my login details and invoice? Afaik AH has released my fibre line into the pool. Then again, I can't say for certain.

Speeds terrible today. Vumatel Aerial on CISP 200/200 ... with no upgrade for 200/200 users from what I've seen posted on the Cool Ideas website :cautious:

By pool I take it you mean OpenServe then. Please PM me a connect ticket, or email addy and I'll let the connect team check for you.

Does Boris shake hands?
Apparently I am an isolated case. My neighbour is still up and running (me using their wifi now, 1bar).

This just went down a few minutes before 7PM last night. All the fibre is underground.

Tech is coming tomorrow at 9AM. Hope it is not serious.

Thanks @PBCool

Just so ya'll know I was on 10/2 and have now been upgraded to 20/2 - getting 16mbps consistently (with Smart Queue enabled on EdgeRouter so that saps a bit of bandwidth) - Thanks CISP!

Great stuff here today.
