Update from Vumatel on 4 April 2020:
We have successfully completed the upgrade of the 10/2 & 10/10 Mbps GPON services to 20/2 & 20/20 Mbps respectively for all the regions.

We have successfully completed the upgrade of the following GPON services across all regions:

20/2 & 20/20 Mbps to 50/5 & 50/50 Mbps respectively
50/5 & 50/50 Mbps to 100/10 & 100/100 Mbps respectively
100/10 & 100/100 Mbps to 200/10 & 200/200 Mbps respectively

We are almost 60% complete with the Active Ethernet upgrades that are scheduled for today.

And before anyone asks, I don't have details on the Active Ethernet upgrade scheduled for today.

That is on ethernet.

Any Cape Gate folks experiencing poor international speeds? Speedtests to CPT and JHB are fine, but international never gets higher than 20Mbps (100Mbps line), and averages 10Mbps. This is testing directly connected via ONT. Potentially packet loss is causing this?

My line was upgraded sometime between yesterday and now - just checked and the double speed thing is live.

Vumatel trenched, Weltevredenpark, Jhb (50/5 to 100/10).

At 14:25 on of our Teraco Rondebosch core routers suffered a software failure. The other router took over after a few minutes of convergence.

Thanks @PBCool @TheRoDent. I love your guy's network but your guy's incredible participation on this forum is the number one reason I moved from Vox where their tier 1 support guys seriously made me consider cutting myself.
