I'm busy with an honours thesis and Google Scholar has for some reason blocked my IP after a full day of researching.

If I use my mobile network it works fine, and via VPN on my one machine works fine too. Issue is definitely my IP address.

Edit: I'm with Openserve, I did turn off my router and ONT for 5 minutes hoping that would help - but unfortunately not.
Pretty much all other networks we are able to force an IP change, Openserve we would need to wait for it to happen by itself. Why not use our web proxy in the interim stuprx01.cisp.co.za 3128 ?

Thanks for that... Openserve definitely comes with it's challenges.
I just installed my ExpressVPN app on my laptop now and routing firefox traffic through it - all ok for now. Thanks for the responses.

On hold at this moment because again an entire day of promises to phone me back but still no response
I have escalated for you, constant responses to tickets actually mess around with the response times. I believe its been logged with Vumatel so will keep an eye on it.

For those of you having packet drops in games, if you have any chance of setting up the following blog article's setup, you will have all the data needed:
https://cribl.io/blog/measuring-hom...ing-mtr-cribl-logstream-influxdb-and-grafana/

Only change I would make, is change the mtr command to use --udp packets to the game server's --port as that will then give you exactly what you need to figure out where your issue is.

This is something I actually want to set up for myself now as well, more so for interest sake.

Dashboard in Grafana then looks like this:

Look excellent - I tried doing stuff using the ELK stack but it is a resource hog. Most of this can be done with collectd as well but I've been using Nagios from the dashboard but need to migrate to Grafana as it has a far better UI!!!
