Still packetloss on local and international seems to originate from same router the other day.

Can you strip the DNS and just provide the IP trace for me?

Every few minutes I lose both international and local for about 10~15 seconds. Are we borked again, or is it just me?

Sounds like a fibre issue somewhere, run a program like ping plotter or WINMTR and see where the disconnect is happening (what hop). I'm on Vumatel Cape Town and no issues

ok so my saga with Web Africa continues in that they finally decided to send out a replacement router. Predictably, it did not work. When I tested the line connected directly to a laptop with a PPOE monitoring tool (before the new router arrived) it picked up exactly NOTHING. Now we cant get hold of the guy at WA who was helping us has his phone appears to be off. its honestly crazy.

So I want to start the process of migrating my mom to CI. Whats the best way to do this? Call WA and cancel the existing account, then call CI to sign-up for an account for her? Cab CI handle the migration request with Octotel? Just want to try and do this efficiently if at all possible. Hoping that this issue will not persist once I move her over.
Yes so cancel then get a date the line will be released (usually the 1st of the following calendar month with notice included), you apply with us then let our connect team when this will be happening. On that day Octotel migrates the line to us :)

Moving into a brand new complex that has fibre line pre-installed by FibreSuburb. I tried to setup a new line with Cool Ideas but was told that FibreSuburb isn't available where I live... but it definitely is! MyOwnIsp even passed out order forms to our complex to activate our lines on FibreSuburb with them. How can I get this sorted?

Been trying to get through to the WA Billing dept. all morning without luck. I'm gobsmacked. The process to move to CI has been started. My mom called you guys earlier today and you picked up the phones - huge brownie points! She was directed to cancel with WA and give notice so thats what we're flipping trying to do....

Is there something going on with Blizzard again? Latency seems all over the place (200+ MS in dungeons usually it's lower). Not sure if this helps:

I also occasionally use a service called WTFAST which kinda acts like a VPN for Blizz games but I can't connect to it at all today.

No issues with loss or latency to London so can't report much from our side.

Question, I did a MTR to reddit.com and the 3rd and 4th hops show up as internal addresses (192.168.x.x). Your support guy called that out and at first I thought it might've been a VPN but even after disabling it, I see those addresses.

Are those not Cool Ideas internal servers or OpenServe? Reason I reached out was regarding packet loss I've been seeing even after the lockdown has eased up.

Those are the handover IPs from Openserve, where is the loss happening?
