We have many clients on Octotel experiencing the same timeouts, packet loss on their layer2. We have brought in their management on this again.Anyone else in Southern Suburbs, Cape Town, Claremont/Kenilworth on Octotel have multiple drops/timeouts this morning? Trying to figure out if I need to reset everything (again) our side or if it's Octotel still being up to kak.

Usually when certain things work and others dont mean there is an MTU issue somewhere, often when FNOs turnup other paths etc this can happen.Experiencing a similar thing at the moment... on Vumatel trenched in Pinetown Durban.
Some stuff works sort of OK other things just don't (Google Mail for one thing is dead in the water atm)
**EDIT** and now things seem to be back to normal.
Its been intermittent for today, but seems to be getting worse this afternoon..Usually when certain things work and others dont mean there is an MTU issue somewhere, often when FNOs turnup other paths etc this can happen.
How long as this been happening for?
Google Mail is managed locally via Google as well, can you try do some traces when it happens? Maybe run something in the background? Its been intermittent for today, but seems to be getting worse this afternoon..
.
Almost as if all my international stuff is dead in the water... but local seems mostly ok (from the limited local stuff I use)
