Do you guys know if there was infrastructure activity or work done on Frogfoot in the Strand or the surrounding area? Yesterday we had people pulling fibre again in our street, and it seems every time they are busy with something there something goes odd. Late afternoon my internet connectivity tank with very little accessibility, it is fine now, but I have a very high loss in games like CSGO and CoD. Do you guys know what may be up?

EDIT:

Could it possibly be due to this?

@PBCool Any feedback from Octotel on the timeouts happening in Claremont/Kenilworth? It's been reasonable for most of today but just had two major timeouts while gaming. I tried getting the attention of their rep on Facebook but she hasn't responded to my query.

Hi there i would just like to know how it works when switching FNO with CISP. I have seen better packages on Octotal than Openserve and wondering how the switch works.
Octotal Ground fiber
Openserve is Aerial fiber

Is there cost for trenching ?
Must i give 1 Month notice on Openserve ?
Is there charges for switching FNO?
any other information you have about changing FNO will be highly appreciated.
Thanks

I am pretty sure 99% of people on here would say don't go to with Octotel unless you want packetloss and headaches during peak hour every day.

Switching is generally give 1 month notice and as the one gets deactivated the other gets activated, we started off with Openserve and then switched to Vumatel.

Openserve was deactivated on 01 December for example and Vumatel was actiaveted like 29th November so i had no down time.

I would stay with Openserve in all honesty, what is the variance between the packages in question?

Nope nothing yet, they have no problems apparently, so when we give them evidence they don't believe us. We then have to emulate scenarios with them until they believe what we are saying. So a bit of a process unfortunately :(

Remember there is typically DFA and Openserve fibre everywhere as well, so could be completely unrelated to FFs network. If there is no notice around your area then log it.
