Any idea on when you will launch the 40mbps with Mitchells Fibre. Webafrica already has theirs available.

How’s it Guys
Hope one of you can help me understand something

so my line was terminated on 31 Aug 2020 with cfibre on vumatel; I placed an order on cool ideas site at the start of August. Today I contacted them today to advise them that my line has been terminated.
the support team couldn’t load an Order as it says “in flight activation service pending with another isp” or something to that affect.

after numerous phone calls and emails I was told by vumatelthat cool ideas service manager rep at vumatel needs to process the request. Ifs a service migration request and not a new line.

so anyone here had issues migrating to cool ideas from another isp? And how did you resolve it? And how long did it take?

In your case Vumatel had an application from Afrihost for the line, so we had to have them manually clear that before they can apply our service. And this time of month Vumatel is a bit behind with all the requests, you should be up tomorrow. Apologies for the delay.

Yea seems when i am going on 100.99.2.22 it goes crazy with packet loss when it switches to 100.99.2.5 it seems stable. Pingplotter shows the change and whenever 2.22 appears i get a nice red line
Checking.

Not seeing any loss on this path, still ongoing?

This is the feedback from the connect team, it's the whole new process and portal from Vumatel that has made this process lengthy and complicated.

Thanks for the update
Btw do you agree with the feedback from vumatel?
The service manager assigned to cisp needs to resolve this ?
