Thanks, thats helpful. I'll try and reach out to them. I do recall getting one email last year, then it stopped? (assumed that SADV pushed back and made it the responsibility of the ISP to communicate)

We use their boardrooms every couple months and since about last year July odd i have always checked and its been Cool Ideas, we were on the wifi so speeds were limited

i just got make from a mates place trying to help him fix "we can receive but can't send email" problem.

they had telkom adsl internet, now openserve fibre with cool ideas, they've kept their telkom email address.

i googled and found some info, followed all the steps, test settings, complete ok.

send mail to myself, goes into outbox then sent items. mail never arrives.

test settings again, fail, no response smtp server. close outlook, open again, test settings ok, send mail, no mail arrives, goes into a black hole somewhere. managed to get 1 message through out of 10.
i told them its kuk telkom server and they should get gmail.

Yeah Telkomsas email server doesn't allow relay at all from external IP ranges, try use mailfw1.cisp.co.za port 587

It's not often that I get emails. I got one on the 7th of Feb and prior to that was in October and prior to that in June. So big gaps between them.

Yeah I noticed it too today. Mine is a little better than yours. Octotel, 100/25 Cape Town.

Weirdly enough twitch is completely unaffected for me.

Openserve customers will be using IS transit as well. If there are more delays we will make some changes to help.

Hello are there any known issues, I am on Clear Access in Nelspruit, my link is running terribly slow when testing to the Cool Ideas speadtest server. I have a 50mb line and I am getting around 6 down and 30 up

Speeds to London are pretty horrid tonight.

Vumatel - Durbanville, Cape Town - 1000/100 - Cabled Ethernet





I don't think it is a lack of the TCP accelerator as I got decent results before the accelerator was implemented in Cape Town.

If it isn't on announcements then we aren't aware, are you testing with a cabled device?
