Sorry for the delay, have you logged it? If it isnt authing it's probably a provisioning issue and you are trying to auth on someone elses Radius.

The lady I spoke to said I don't need to log anything since you guys are already looking into it, but I opened a ticket now anyway:

Ok, sorry about that. Vodacom has sent out several messages about loadshedding, but it's very "general". Likely another POP or backhaul link outside your direct loadshedding area went down.

It's a big "string" of dependencies....

Was off again this morning after 6, possibly related to load shedding somewhere. Can you please check on your system? I phoned at 7:45pm last night, went through all the troubleshooting steps with the agent, but no ticket was logged regarding the fault? I will PM you my details.

Just got home and connected directly to the ONT to bypass my router as instructed by support.

Something doesn't look good still and just wanted to run something past an expert if you get a chance to check it. I did email support with an update on the ticket. #COOL-20200202-372581

Did a WInMTR to queen.cisp.co.za and I get this. Does this look right with such high latency to that 154.0.4.122 IP. Is it in the EU?

Not sure if I can trust those what is my ip address sites but they say the 1st 3 are all in Gauteng. I though us PE guys route via CPT.

What other tests can I run when connected directly to the ONT to assist with escalating this to Frogfoot or to help CISP support?

Yes thanks. Was on when I got home. Took me a while to figure out why the internet works but not Netflix. Forgot about the Vodacom mtu issue when I reset the router.

All good now thank you. Also had a call from one of your support guys.

If you run a ping to 154.0.0.246 for 20 seconds or so?
