I don't mind I just want to know what the process is. If its a cancellation and reapplication I'll do it tonight. Thanks for all the help.

*EDIT: Octotel line cancelled and Openserve line ordered.

Let me know how it performs. Not having any issues just interested to see if there's any performance improvements for you.

IT seems back up not was down about 40min or so, I have not specified a DNS everything on Auto.

PPPoE connection has just dropped twice on Octotel in the southern suburbs. Anyone else having problems?

I'm in Claremont, no drops here. I know they had issues this morning with maintenance on the Rondebosch node. Maybe still ironing things out?

It wouldn't take much to have performance improvements. This was my line last night:

It was so bad I was getting knocked off steam. The throughput of my 100mb line, locally, is typically around 85mb.

To say I'm over this is an understatement, but thankfully the techs came this morning and I now have the Nokia 3310 in my house powering my fiber. Just waiting for activation.

@PBCool @TheRoDent Lately in the evenings I have been getting packet loss which lasts until around 23:00. During the day my line is clean until just after 19:00 then the loss starts again, would it be worth it for me to log a ticket for this or is it just a general issue in PE?

There was something on their announcement page a few months ago that they have setup new NLDs for PE <> CPT.

Thanks, also saw it now, I guess there is no point logging a ticket if FF are aware of it, will wait and see what happens after they resolve it, will only log if its an issue after that.

More feedback, looks like it's also affecting George and CPT (separate tweets for each area with the same info):
