:cautious::( that relocation clause though sucks when you have a lease that expires in 11 months.

But glad to see the once-off setup. Would that apply to anyone else who activates the line after I move out?
It's prorated, so you would have to settle 1/12 of the cost after 11 months. Then the next place would be free again.

Hi @PBCool

I have an openserve install that was just completed in Cape Town.

If I sign up with CISP, where do I break out onto your network, @ Teraco Cape Town or Teraco JHB or Telkom Data Centre in Bellville. i.e. Where is the IPC? Telkom Internet ISP seems to break out in JHB or something like that as its a 20 ms reply from the gateway hop....

thx

You will breakout in Teraco Cape Town. We have IPC nodes in CPT, JHB, and DBN.

Oh wow! These are def more favorable terms and can agree with this.

Vox on the other hand still wants the full installation fee after 11 months

My apartment block is WIP status on Frogfoot. And it's not coming up on an address search via the website. And the Frogfoot portal says there is an installation charge. Best to email connect@cisp.co.za?

This is what the MFN Calix boxes show on their config, so they actually set up to handle 1Gbps but yeah don't think they will ever bring this....

With these new 1000/200 & 1000/500 packages is the 1000/500 just for local traffic? And if so what is the international?

When Vumatel did the upgrades, they put the 1000/200 people on 1000/500 initially. I was getting full line speed both locally and internationally
