Thanks, think i'll just add the Finland IP's to my Cloudflare warp config, not the biggest fan of the CISP VPN, since it got moved a few friends and i have noticed the quality of the connection just feels meh, feels very unresponsive.

For me the only game it helped with was Apex Google Servers but then every other EU server ping increased in ping by 10-15ms, when i did some testing i kept seeing Zayo Bandwidth as a provider and from when i did extensive testing with NordVPN UK servers i always found the Zayo provider one was so bad, never use to get any speed from them.Have you found any success with the CISP VPN broadly speaking? I've tried it with two different games and its helped with neither.
Genuinely do not think anyone is routing correctly with Finland, EU mates UK/Greece/ etc all say ping jumps to 80-100+ when we are on Finland serversFor me the only game it helped with was Apex Google Servers but then every other EU server ping increased in ping by 10-15ms, when i did some testing i kept seeing Zayo Bandwidth as a provider and from when i did extensive testing with NordVPN UK servers i always found the Zayo provider one was so bad, never use to get any speed from them.
I just run a split tunnel using cloudflare warp for Belgium Google servers since they give me 160 to Belgium but sadly did testing earlier they give the same shitty 220ms to Finland.
I have friends who live in Norway and Denmark and the best latency Apex servers for them is Amsterdam of around 20 to 30 and then anything else is around 80+ so assume latency into those 3 countries is pretty rough. Best latency I got to Google Finland is via M247 on Windscribe I hit around 185. A casual speedtest to Helsinki is 177 from CT so 185 seems about on par.Genuinely do not think anyone is routing correctly with Finland, EU mates UK/Greece/ etc all say ping jumps to 80-100+ when we are on Finland servers
Used the VPN last night and the ping to the Finland server was better but it was very erratic ping was spiking a lot in game, the two friends I was playing with were fine the one lives in the UK and the other is with Mweb CTAnd via VPN?
As per the Rocketnet RSS feed they did maintenance on that node on 3rd September which was Friday so they probably broke something *eats popcorn*Is Octotel doing maintenance at Cape Gate? 3 disconnects in the last 30 minutes.
I keep on getting SMS notifications for Octotel Rondebosch maintenance. Nothing else.
That firsthop loss to router.asus.com is not right. Try changing channels or resetting the ASUS to defaults. Otherwise try our TP-Link.@PBCool I finally got connected with fibre a few days ago (Octotel, CISP on a 100mb line).
As a new user of fibre, is it normal for my stats to look like this? I see high packet loss overall, including on my router as well. I'm using an ASUS AC52U router.
Let me know how best to test these things? I am running a CAT5e cable to my PC, if that counts for anything.
Thanks

Vox has SACS, and i suppose SAFE capacity now too.Any reason why on PUBG
My mate with VOX gets a 170ms vs CISP to singapore getting 348ms ?
Any reason for such
Not according to my Vox, unless they meant Sao Paulo.Vox has SACS, and i suppose SAFE capacity now too.
From JHB via SAFE you can get around 110ms to Singapore

So annoying. At least Octotel are aware of this and hopefully we'll see a fix soon.
They've been aware of this since last year already. It's still a problem. Don't get your hopes up.
Many people are affected by this. A few of them post here:Seems this is the case. FNO has told Cool Ideas that there's no problem, even though there is evidence of a problem existing.
@PBCool @CoolChick or any other CI rep, can you please follow up on this. My reference number is #COOL-20210907-765117. I have sent numerous screenshots highlighting how problems start occuring from IP 154.0.0.245 on Octotel's network. I even have a video highlighting how the line goes from perfectly fine to kaput at random times, usually with intervals of disruption occurring 6 minutes apart. I have forwarded this information to Buhle as well.

Who is the FNO (fibre network operator)?I'm in Westville, Durban and I've noticed that my ping times have increased from the 1ms to 2ms I used to have in the past, to 12ms to the same providers on SpeedTest. Is anybody else experiencing the same?
