Same issue here - there was maintenance scheduled for last night from 11:00PM for 8 hours, something probably went wrong.Internet down again Sunningdale, Cape Town frog foot. Down all night and still not up and ideas?
Holy Batman! I dont think I have the right to complain anymore. That is insane!
They should just redo the entire fibre install. Not even Octotel's network can be that bad.
Do you have neighbours with fibre too? Stable for them?
Have you eliminated every single point of failure from your 'house' to the CPE? Different routers, etc. Checked settings like 'dial on demand' ?
Edit: Maybe @TheRoDent can send you one of those special boxes they have to analyze lines? IIRC it was @image132 that had one?

Nope dead againSuper weird. ONT light all are fine. I can see PPPoE servers but it doesn't connect. @PBCool perhaps the DHCP thing you guys tried to implement?

Just Google Rocketnet RSS feed has all the FNOMind providing the URL where you looked this up?
Lets see. Was up and then end downlooks to be back up
If I could swap from Octotel, I would gladly just give up that extra month of cost. You could always drop to cheapest package and then upgrade again on new line. Kinda sus, but it could workHi @PBCool,
Is there anyway to get around the 30 day notice needed to switch from Octotoel to Openserve? With the Rondebosch PoP being broken for an extended period of time and getting constant disconnects as a result, it has become impossible for me to do my job reliably. Sometimes I disconnect up to 5 times in a 30 minute period.
It's AWS controlled just use CISP VPN until AWS change it backHi guys
Noticed the pings to the EU servers for PUBG is @ 196 ms ex CPT. . Normally 150 - 160 ish if the routing is in place,
Did something change CISP side? 1000/200 trenched Vuma.

Not concerned myself. Just posting to show it is "not just them".It's AWS controlled just use CISP VPN until AWS change it back
it was changed a while back and the pings were fine without the need for a vpn, which stuff around with other services. It's AWS controlled just use CISP VPN until AWS change it back
