May have been a NXDOMAIN result when there was an issue resolving slack.com and the cached result was stored.

I've cleared the resolver cache and it seems to work now.

Not really what I expected so far. I have disconnections every damn day.
Pretty much no different to the loss of service I experienced on their LTE.

Every single day.

Funny enough it's the ethernet that goes but the wifi stays up.
Have to restart the router to reconnect.

It's beyond annoying.

Especially in a job where downtime matters for even the slightest second.

So after about a week the Openserve weirdness is back, except this time I can actually see it in the graph:

It almost seems as though they have 2 different backhauls that keep switching over the whole time.

That is normal. I also use openserve.

I have two CISP and one VOX. The VOX one has no load as its a fail-over. Whenever there is load on the link the latency drifts. Normal is 3.4 and it tops at 13.8 when the link is flat lining. Openserv would say 13.4 is normal.

Have you logged this with support? If wireless stays up its either a router or cable or nic issue.

Well yeah MPLS paths, one longer than the other as seen in other parts of their network.

Hi @PBCool or @TheRoDent

Was hoping one of you guys could assist me with this https://mybroadband.co.za/forum/thr...lls-plain-strandfontein.1035631/post-28111824 (I sent a pm to @PBCool the other day, but not sure if it was received?)

TL;DR - I'm trying to get port forwarding to work on a EG8141A5 router from VumaReach. Based on feedback I received from some helpful forum members it appears that I may be behind a CGN. Is it possible for a public IP to be assigned to me?

Would appreciate any assistance, thanks
