Try set it to belgium, it gets better results than cape town. Also your download speed on steam can be limited by your cpu.

I typically get 60-80MB\s, sometimes i manage to get over 100 but its quite seldom. I'm running an i7 9700 and also on 1000/200 vuma trenched.
you are a legend... went from 40MB/s when set to Cape Town to 112.9MB/s in belgium 1634979485329.png

So not sure why, but have not been able to get above 10/10 on my line, even though its a 50/50.
Disconnected all devices and reset the router.
Any ideas?

Anyone else with Century City Connect down or is it just me?

Edit: false alarm I think it's just my router acting up.

Vumatel Trenched? They have been doing some systems stuff.

Otherwise, please log a ticket. Sounds like a provisioning problem.
Yes Sorry Vuma trenched Cape Town Northern Suburbs Bothasig.
Have not logged a ticket as yet, but seems to be as if the line is throttled.

Edit: Have logged a ticket now:

Ticket Created #COOL-20211023-797526

Can you post a trace for me?

If it comes back I will. Weird thing was I was gaming fine, and then suddenly the connection basically went dark, with data coming through every 5-15 seconds for a tiny bit, and then stopping. Did a reset and that fixed it (touch wood).

Both of those let you install Merlin firmware which will then let you turn on fq_codel.
I didn't know that! fq_codel and CAKE are the cat's whiskers.

Are there some well priced versions of ASUS as some of the prices I see are in x86 territory!

I'm not entirely sure now but it looks like they might have removed fq_codel from the Merlin firmware and replaced it with Cake on the newer models and they only recommend it for speeds under 250Mbps.

That's probably a hardware limitation as you'd need a xeon with a fast memory bus for higher speeds.
