Anyways @PBCool

Over the last month or so I noticed the pings for PUBG on PC to the AWS servers in EU being erratic. With that I mean that some servers now gives much higher pings that what we are used to. Normally it's +150 -160ms from CPT.

However as said it seems that some new servers got spun up or they moved some, since some servers we play on give us +- 190-200ms pings, which is not nice.

I'm not sure if the change is due tothe IPs being routed via AWS themselves or not, but I guess so.

I have monitored some IPS with Netlimiter and found a few examples of IPs that isn't playing nice.

I get this as well but with Apex but I just chalked it up it just being Apex server architecture being ass.

Only thing for me that is stable is Overwatch. JHB Here

We saw a drop on international for a minute in Cape Town it should be restoring, apologies all maintenance is complete.

Apex servers are very bad... i got over 600 hours in the game, tried VPN's you name in and it just comes down to EA's servers being horrible, random packet loss, bad hit reg you name it but EA will blame you and your ISP but then even streamers are having issues a lot of the time...

Are you aware of SBMM ? Maybe they have a similar model as Call of Dooky where they manipulate connections to ensure everyone’s got a “fun experience “

PUBS (none ranked games) its random MM i have two Apex accounts my first game on a brand new account i had top 500 players (can be seen by dive trails) as well as my teammates who were bronze, and then there is ranked where they try keep certain ranks together e.g. bronze, silver gold together then some plats will be in those lobbies as well etc.

I doubt they change the server you on since you pick what server you want to play on and for example if you choose Bahrain and are plat ranked you won't find any games it will be dead, same goes if you high ranked e.g. masters you won't be able to find ranked games until late afternoon unless you play on a popular server e.g. New York in the morning for us. However these are assumptions, who knows what goes on behind the scenes at EA...

Their servers are 20 tick... the likes of CS (private games) and Valorant are 128 tick for comparison...

Latency also seems higher - getting 180ms from CPT to London, instead of the normal 140 - 150.
