I can Run a traceroute to the DNS 41.193.178.62.. I have 5 hops but still no Internet access
If your DNS points to 41.193.178.62 it means you are directly on the Vumatel network.
IE your line is not set to a specific ISP.
It is as if your line is not provisioned yet. Like was the line released recently for ISP change etc? Or was there a mistake and you should be on CISPs vlan?
At least now you know what to ask for. Make sure your line get provisioned.

Doesnt even make it to our network then, will follow up again.
It looks like his line is not provisioned to CISP right now. Like he was removed from the CISP vlan.

My traces looked like that before I signed up to an ISP.

He should only be able to browse to shop.vumatel.co.za on that ip address and dns server.

We don't even have the ability to throttle unless done manually.

Is this done with a cabled device? If so please log as normal.
Sorry was meant to be accusatory, tone was a bit off.
It just feels like i'm being throttled based on the speedtest. torrent wont go over 1mb, and both up and down speeds are same.

Line down in Richards Bay on Vodacom. Red alarm light on ONT, is this a line problem?
