@PBCool Any update from vuma on the outage, more specifically why our IP's changed?

I'm busy moving my stuff over to Cloudflare's Argo Tunnels so it wont be an issue (for me at least) in the future.

having small disconnects with MFN clients in Carlswald seems to be 5-6 minutes at a time

Getting frequent disconnects on Frogfoot in Bloemfontein as well. Seems like it's completely dead now.

Still getting packet loss... Friday night, no gaming to be done with this kak line... Load of garbage.

Any progress with Octopoes?

Hi. I'm still getting packetloss spikes in-game to Paris and London among others, 150-300 packets lost in a 10-minute session. Intermittent spikes of 1-10%+ ingoing and outgoing. I took my pc to a mates house on Openserve and lost 1-7 packets max in a 40-minute session, every time for a period of 4 days.

I've tested here directly to ONT with the same results, different desktops and laptops, different UTP cables and different routers, same thing. Had the same packetloss with previous RSAWeb on Octotel.

A technician Ben was looking into it and said he would do further tests to see if its likely a last mile issue line fault issue.
I've since heard no response back, he's ignoring me. The last email I got from him was April 10. I've emailed 3 times since then, last was 2 days ago, and still no reply.

What's the deal here? Is this too much to ask for?
I'm not even blaming Cool Ideas as I don't know if it's you or Octotel, but I want to know where the problem lies, so I can make a decision to move to Vumatel if that's what needs to be done, which will only be in June due to the fkn calendar months notice period...

So I've not been able to use this account for gaming for the entire duration of the account (3 months) and I'm gatvol now, I didn't expect this from Cool Ideas both in lack of service and in network performance, after epic performance with you at my previous residence. I was a big fan but that's starting to change.

Please get the bottom of it. If its Octotel, fine, but you should be engaging with them to fix it as I obviously can't. I need to know very soon as its nearly month end, but if its fixable then I don't have to wait another month to transfer to Vumatel and also get smacked with heavy installation costs after the R999 migration fee from RSAWeb to Cool Ideas on Octotel.

If nothing on announcements please log as normal for me.

It is on announcements, but probably needs following up with MFN and an update. From my logs, I experienced no less than 20 spurious disconnects yesterday, and this morning they have started again. Very frustrating.

Hi sorry to hear that, if it was something to do with us then it would affect all customers typically. Let me see what is going on.

We are escalating with MFN this morning.
Experienced it last night in PTA N MFN around 20:00.

PPPoE would show as connected with no traffic flow. Need to restart connection and it would work again for 5 mins.

Havent noticed a problem today however.
