So do these double the speed promos include us, or just Metrofibre customers?
Whatever is offered to us we offer customers typically, MFN is also an ISP so could be their own offering. But new pricing and packages should be communicated on the 1st.

Octotel would be my guess, want a test account on Openserve with us?
No thanks, don't have Openserve here. Put in months notice period and ordered Vumatel. I'm gatvol. Not impressed at all with cool ideas either, still no response from support as to what the problem is. Spent hours testing and showing your guys the loss and getting run around and ignored, still no reply from support since April 10 or any concrete reason for the loss.
I cancelled based on @CrypticZA 's response above.

Lol this sales guy after I already ordered and paid for a new Vumatel line, at the time selecting "new Vumatel line" and tell them in previous mail very specifically I don't have a Vumatel line but do have an Octotel one . Real genius this one, Mr. S.S. Eish eish boetie.

Kindly note that the installation you have sent below is not a Vumatel installation however it is a Octotel installation

Please note that should you wish to proceed with Vumatel we can place a new installation order for you and ETA is within 2-3 weeks or should you wish to proceed with Octotel you will have to place a new order on our website and select Octotel you will not require installation as it is already there just the activation of the line

Great thanks - very interested to see if this will filter down :
  • MetroFibre will also introduce a new 500Mbps FTTH package to ensure that existing 200Mbps and 300Mbps customers benefit from the upgrade – customers on these packages will automatically be upgraded to 500Mpbs.

PM me your account details? Or any references.

So you requested to switch from Octotel to Vumatel with our connect department?

I knew it was paid for when I saw that the comments were already disabled 5 minutes after it was posted. Many people on the forum know what kind of service SS provides, it's no secret.

It's the same with MyBB voting Frogfoot as FNO of the year when I noticed their adverts on the forum banners (when my adblock was turned off). I don't agree with it, but I guess they need to make money.
