It must be FNO or Area / Region Specific, because it runs clear in Cape Town, Brackenfell, on Vuma Trenched, 1000/200, with the odd latency spike.

It's JHB related couple days ago their JHB core had issues and only JHB and KZN people had issues mea while we were fine, same thing now only JHB and KZN are having issues.

I must add CT International experience during peak is not the best graphs look fine but gaming is not nice.... get these bursts of packet loss and last night playing Overwatch 2 things just went downhill around 8ish.

My discord ping and everything local was perfect so not my FNO

Is this normal for a trace to 1.1.1.1?

I am trying to monitor the fibre connection at the new house because it sometimes just feels slow and doesn't always respond. But I don't really see issues on any trace, no packet loss etc. It is just sometimes slow while browsing, sites will sometimes time out and then work, telegram videos will not download or download very slow etc. Some of it could be wifi related but getting the same issues on LAN as well.

Will the TP-Link Archer C20 (the one CI provided for the 100/100 line on MFN) be sufficient for a 200/200 line?

@TheRoDent @PBCool

Hopefully can get success from you guys as Support center seems to not understand

we are moving so have done the whole cancel and reapply for line. Ref #COOL-20220425-919931

Now here is what is happening. There is an install already in place. Line is still active from previous tennants that landlord does not know how to get hold of previous tennant as it was done through an agency and since then the agency has closed down and tennant has vacated the property almost 2 months ago. So previous tennant is still paying for fibre through MTN(vuma) but I need our line to be active there and not previous tennant.

Then next as will see in the thread that we do not have the object number. We were told to goto shop.vumatel.co.za and get from there but there is no object number there so we can not provide object number and also as per above can not get hold of previous tennants who had it installed to get object number

Is it possible that you can please spread some light and hope that can get this sorted without me having to pull my hair out

I wonder if their accounts have been suspended based on the Supersonic article.

no suspension as can see it is a 50/50 line and everything works just I hate MTN with a passion and would rather stay with Cool Ideas as in general their service is fantastic.

Or is this where I go chasing down the Dark Web on someone elses name (Evil Grin)

Not at all. I would not mind free fibre but it is not a company want to be associated with

Was referring to PBCool and TheRoDent's myadsl accounts ;)

Got a client in waterfall estate with supersonic as the FNO and ISP. Had so many issues getting a things to work after we changed a router
Think it was smart villages or something before. I call the support centre and ask do I need a specific MTU, doesn't know what I'm talking about

Told the client to leave them but he's a MWEB type user and doesn't wanna change

Run as fast as you can lol. currently the MTU seems to be working fine on 1500(Default) But connection is intermittent. What they should actually do that is if you move you just take your CPE with(I am sure they can do some sort of MAC authentication) just to make life easier. Only if it is a different FNO then would need to get a new CPE but if was Vuma to Vuma then some sort of MAC address authentication
