I've only ever got the CISP one and I've never really had any problems with YouTube. Using 1.1.1.1 DNS.

I've been lucky and generally go to Amsterdam and have no issues but yesterday I went to a JHB cache and couldn't even stream 360p...

They been promising upgrades but it just gets pushing out and out. Gaming on their servers has been hell too...

From our side we recently deployed another cluster so we have enough capacity via caches but if their transit is still congested it won't really matter.

It stabilised after about 10pm that night, thanks. I'm pretty sure it was congestion somewhere because I remember the same thing happened (without as much packet loss) the night Warzone Season 3 update released about a month ago, which was also a public holiday.

So after some more digging I see Cloudflare Warp in JHB mostly give 104.28.229.0/24 for V4 and the Google Cache is actually from AS28907 2a02:2278::/32 Internet Invest Ltd. which is https://mirohost.net in the Ukraine peering at GigaNET IX.

Discussions on the network groups is they are doing random announces and changes. Probably relative to what you are seeing.

Yea i don't mind as long as it works which it is so all good.

I have warp which works well too - they don't peer locally with Google for most of their gaming servers as well so get good latency and no packet loss.

@PBCool internet has been on and off all day, steam and discord constantly kicking me out and browsing is generally slugish.
