Which ISP would you go with? Also getting up to a year with CISP, and might reevaluate options
Not sure. I haven't looked at it yet. Originally went with CISP after doing some research, checking reviews and in large part checking this forum. They've been okay, but I don't like that they don't respond.

Okay, just had a call from them. Seems we are part of larger outages. Problem is my wife works from home and is heavily reliant on internet. There is a Vodacom backup, but this is unreliable due to bad coverage and speed is low. Two days now.

@PBCool hi, ticket logged on 10th May (COOL-20220510-930871) - still not resolved. Link down again.
Entire complex. Please don't ask me to run another MTR.

Thanks this seems to be different issues, they replaced the router for one fault and now its related to an FNO outage I believe?

incorrect. there was an FNO outage a few days ago - read the ticket. And now another one.
In between there are intermittent disconnects. I'm not sure why your technician decided to send me a router for an FNO outage?

So FNO outage and random disconnects are different issues. Router replacement is part of the troubleshooting for random disconnects. The FNO outage part can be coupled as the same sort of issue.

How is PUBG Mobile latency to Europe here? On Vox it's been bad the last few weeks, on an Afrihost 1GB account it's better but not great.

PUBG servers are hosted by Amazon and use their transport so it should be pretty standard everywhere

The game they asking about is a mobile game, getting your VPN to work on mobile if i recall is not the easiest (saw a mobile gamer complaining on the VPN thread a while ago), warp/1.1.1.1 mobile app would probably be much easier - i use warp at gym to bypass the Vox restriction of no Netflix

OP's FNO is probably the issue.

I have been playing Apex every night this week and been getting Frankfurt servers and AWS has been good to me on them *touches wood*

Right, yeah not so easy then. You can vpn from mobile devices.

Does anybody have contact details for someone at Cool Ideas that's actually competent? I've spent the last 4 days listening to Evotel and Cool Ideas play the blame game, and I've now officially reached the point where I'm going to throw a tantrum.

Edit: Nevermind, they managed to fix it finally. Turns out it was a lot more complicated than I thought.

Anyone in Durban with CI? Good? Any probs? Looking at switching :)
Not in Durbs but in PMB, there were some problems in the past with KZN NLDs dropping connection but CI seems to have sorted them out, been pretty stable for the past 2 months or so.
