@PBCool How does it work if I want to get Octotel out here to physically move my fibre line? The previous owners of the house had the CPE put in the stupidest place and I want it moved to a more appropriate place.

There would likely have to be some discussion with somebody on which is the best way to get it to the location I want before any contractors came to do anything.

Not using East Coast, we've de-peered Riot in UK which is now using Cogent Transit. But seems loss is still there. So getting more difficult to pinpoint.

Is there something wrong with CloudFlare peering in CPT atm?
WebSquad Looking glass & Afrihost is routing cloudflare traffic to CPT correctly while CISP is routing to JHB.
The cloudflare status page also shows Cape Town as "Operational"

Alright, to add to it. Packet loss on Valorant, even on Paris at the moment is horrendous. It's pretty much broken the game. Whatever the change was, this isn't it.

I had loss on Paris too, months before the change.

We have turned up peering with AWS in CPT again, and will turn up RIOT in London again. We have one more thing to try which will require some after hours traffic routing. But we now know it uses RIOTs network for the most part.

This was a part of the experimenting with loss, should be back to normal.

I applied for an upgrade to 100/100 last month, on the 8th of the month somewhere I think.
The upgrade I think actually happened 2 maybe 3 maybe 4 days later, can't remember. Today I was charged still for the old 50/50 package. COOL-20220508-929159

yeah their usual Wednesday blip in CPT...CISP isn't alone experiencing this issue.
