Running Vuma Air in The West Rand.

Also seeing the packet loss but it seems on the CI side.

That looks more like on the Vuma Aerial side, originates at 2nd hop, that is Vuma not CISP side, @PBCool @TheRoDent can confirm.

EDIT: looking at your new MTR, it is already starting at your Router, maybe a Firewall or QoS setting playing up.

Looks like it is starting at your router, maybe a firewall missmatch.
I am running the latest v7.2.3 stable on mikrotik with a full reset and clean re-config after the upgrade from v6 to v7 RouterOS.

I'm on Vuma trenched in the Vaal, and I was having disconnects every couple of minutes in Heroes of the Storm this morning. Gave up trying to play because of it.

Edit: let me clarify, it wasn't specifically Blizzard's servers, I would lose throughput completely. I would get disconnected in game, it would last about 20 seconds and in those 20 seconds I wouldn't be able to load MyBB.
I would suggest submitting a Ticket then.

Metrofibre Umbilo, Durban.

700 packets lost in 10 minutes. Probably my worst ever. Since the changes that occurred over the weeks, my ping is higher and my packet loss is awful.
Which changes? Can you try do some iperfs or mtrs as it's probably line related.

Why are you mentioning this if so many of us have said there's no loss on our MTR's and we still get packet loss?
And also, you guys yourself can't find the source of the loss, so even you mentioning "No loss to international hosts" says nothing?
There's so many of us with packet loss here now which can't be found, yet strangely no issue on Vox or Telkom myself, or on Webafrica (CrypticZA)?
Another week goes by, another Friday with no gaming to be done.
Struggling to find how Cool Ideas premium pricing is justified if you can't even game on the line.
It's not as simple as saying everything has loss as is limited to a certain games. You can't make an assumption on everything based on this, so regular troubleshooting needs to apply to most issues. We are aware of the Valorant issue and its not a simple diagnosis as you have seen based on all the tests we have done thus far. I understand the frustration completely but not a simple fix unfortunately.

We are going to changing routing in Cape Town as a trial for a few nights which will probably hamper other performance metrics but its part of the process of ruling out what may be causing this.

You have 1% loss to your router and to the last destination, have you tested with a cabled device?

Would you mind sending me an export of your firewall rules.

This is something worth investigating thank you.
Yeah I am having disconnects playing WoW this morning too. Blizzard has been really messy for me for a few weeks to be honest. But not sure if they are Blizzard specific or some of them have been general issues? Here is a trace for you, if it helps at all. Is the loss on the 2nd and 3rd hops something to be worried about? It seems I have this no matter the destination address.

You have packet loss starting in the fibre network before traffic even goes international there is loss

We are seeing international loss from JHB at the moment, teams are investigating.

I get that, but it is consistently the 2nd and 3rd hops. And a lot of the addresses give loss only there, and none to the final destination at all.

Anything I can do about it?

If you have no loss to the destination the subsequent hops are insignificant. But as mentioned there is an issue from JHB to London at the moment.
