yeahreddit ridiculously slow for anyone else today?

Their local CDN has been having problems for like the past month
Proudly South AfricanSeems like all the local CDNs are degrading. At this point I'd be happier if CI just routed all traffic to the international ones.
Proudly South AfricanDon't even get me started on the state of the Limelight CDN..
Which game, which server, what latency?Wtf is going on guys. Another night of high latency. I didn't expect consistent issues with CISP - is someone looking into this??
Thats what I do I still have my config file and its very good experienceI've been using Warp with the proper WireGuard windows client instead of the CF Warp Windows app which uses the Wireguard protocol too, and oddly the performance in Apex is WAY better. Very odd, but glad you mentioned it and I gave it a go.
Yes, there is a fairly basic Bandwidth Control function in one of the options under the Menu options on the left.I have the stock model TP-Link router that CI delivers when the fibre is initially installed. Is there any way to limit bandwidth usage from a specific device? Namely a TV Box, that is eating through my usage. It doesn't need as much as it's using to play fecking Netflix.
yep - looks like fastly is having issues. if i update my dns to use 151.101.61.140 for gql.reddit.com the response time goes from 10s to 462msSeems like all the local CDNs are degrading. At this point I'd be happier if CI just routed all traffic to the international ones.
We are going to try one more thing which we can do tomorrow if you are willing to test tomorrow evening? Latency to London is still 140ms via our network. Beyond that we don't have much control obviously.
Dropped you a PM
Sure but this was logged today?Hi @PBCool. Can you check on progress on these please?

Couple of my neighbours are down too.
Thanks!
Thanks - your support desk phoned me. They will send the photos I took to Vuma and hopefully Vuma will come and replace the street side box. There is also an area outage apparently which Vuma are busy attending to. Rand Water contractors digging up the street decided to just toss the box to one side and bury the naked fibre hand-off in the soil.Sure but this was logged today?
Apparently not outage related.

Been there done that - the electricity/water guys are oblivious to FTTH. Having said that FNO's simply ignore their wayleave conditions, so the fibre is not where it is meant to be in many many cases.Jisses - and one sometimes wonders why you need a supervisor to every 3 wekkers (and sometimes even that doesn't help)
