uktest looks clean but others like eu.battle.net seem to have loss as well. The only reason I noticed it was because I'm connected to a Teamspeak server which peers internationally (even though it's actually local) and I'm the only one getting loss, sitting at about 10%.

Coreix throughput is also very bad which points to there being some kind of problem (my local tests are completely clean).

EDIT: uktest seems to have loss now as well:

Which uses LINX, no loss on the NLD to KZN either. So a bit tricky to diagnose based on these tests.

Let me keep digging.

Now since 22:00 everything is suddenly completely clean, very strange. Teamspeak is rock solid as well.

So apparently Vumatel has completed their “maintenance” on the Vuma Village network yet I am still experiencing intermittent connection. This is an absolute joke, how is this allowed at all. Also checked this morning and my upload is still at 200 so going to need to make a ticket about that now as well. I had less problems on ADSL in 10 years than in the last 9 months I’ve had fibre. Ridiculous really

Hi, sorry which service are you referring to when testing? Is this an international speedtest?

Apologies, Coreix UK.

I posted to confirm it is not my internal network, but seems to be a provisioning problem during peak times.

Regarding ticket COOL-20230101-1099084 - my intermittent connection still persists, the Octotel tech has been out twice but the issue is likely not something he can fix. He told me yesterday he would talk to an engineer but haven't heard back yet.

Should CI be escalating this now or should I just continue dialog with the technician and hope he is able to bring this issue further up the chain?

^ Technician just got back to me and told me they need to do a port change, which will apparently happen later today. Let's hope that helps.

Hi Guys,

I got a mail recently stating that my line will be auto upgraded to 150/150mb speed. However I would like to stay on the 100/100 package I am on. What is the best process to follow to retain this setup? Or must I go ahead with the upcoming change?

I only just noticed now on the UDM-Pro that the little "i" icon is actually the CoolIdeas logo. That's pretty neat!

Well that's a first lol, is the upgrade for free?
Yes, sort of. Its basically same price as I'm paying right now, but for 150/150, when they do the upgrade. I must however buy a gigabit router myself to accommodate.

I honestly don't need the speed upgrade, 100mb is ample for my needs.
