Hello,

I just wanted to let you guys know that exitlag improved a lot for South Africa. And the pricing isn't in USD anymore(Was $6.50) R69 per month or R40 pm if you take it for a year. I know we all want our ISP's to have the best solution but I thought I would just share what works for me. Maybe somebody finds it helpful.

I will list some in-game screenshots for Apex Singapore and Overwatch EU from Pretoria. I also use it for EU Apex and I found that the ping would always be the same or better compared to my brother with just Cool Ideas. They also fixed the option that you select Europe for Apex and exitlag will pick the servers.

@PBCool,

I was told yesterday by Tshepo that my case has been escalated, and that I would be contacted.

36 hours later, on along, drawn out problem, I have not heard a word.

Please kick some butt, as this is a weeks old problem.

I was still online around that time, did not notice anything. I am connected to the EdenPark PoP (at the NG Kerk next to Laërskool Brackenfell).

Hey Guys

I need help with my ONT Box ( I have a one of those black router like ONT boxes)
I was able to access it before my line was configured and I could enable Wifi and stuff using the password on the sticker but since Vumatel configured it I cant access it to enable/change wifi
I dont remember if I changed the password my self from default or something vumatel did
Is there a way to factory reset the ONT box so the admin password reverts to the default ?
Will that **** up my connection xD ?

Bruh is worried about ipv6 meanwhile South Africa soon gonna be 14 hours a day without power....

If it works why break it try change it is my motto
v6 by nature is a need thing it doesn't particularly improve anything from an experience perspective, it isn't an "internet 2.0" situation.

I totally agree with you, I really don't see a need for it.

Like you said it is not suddenly going to be internet 2.0

For me i don't why people keep posting about it, if an ISP has enough v4 IP's why invest a ton of dev time and resources right now, i watched 2 ISP's implement v6 and it was a lot of issues and that and i could image a lot of extra support tickets

You make the ipv6 portion opt-in and you shouldnt have a ton of tickets/issues, and those that want it will be more willing to work through the issues with the isp.

IPv6 isn't critical unless there are crazy people making IPv6 only websites. I guess there can't be too many of those. I do find it useful when testing the mobile apps we build to make sure they will play nicely on overseas mobile networks where it is a thing. I used to use the HE tunnel broker but now it is easier to just use cloudflare warp.
