Issues with Vumatel/Cool Ideas in Brackenfell perhaps? Seem to be down for the last 30 minutes or so

This seemed fine when I got up at 8am but again down in the Brackenfell, Protea Heights area. Anyone else affected or is it just me lol

FYI accelerator has been updated in JHB and the appliance supplier believes it should resolve the packet loss problem we have been experiencing, we will monitor this evening.

Entirely possible, though having enough people to make an impact move out on exactly the same date/time maaaaay be a stretch

@PBCool could you please take a look at account COOL83049. Been trying to get FTTB line installed since end August. Frogfoot/DFA are being difficult to say the least. Line is installed, just need it terminated and an ONT and we are up.

You have lent us an LTE modem in the meantime, but that is just costing you money as the agreement was uncapped for a once off payment until fibre was installed. So I have just been requesting free top ups as and when needed.

Could you please escalate and assist? Install is basically done.

DFA is in shambles at the moment, I had a call with their new Chief executive yesterday and they are formulating a plan to resolve all outstanding issues. As soon as I have any more feedback I will update.

Had my internet disconnect twice yesterday immediately after the power came back on from loadshedding. Very strange as it was only like a 20 second outage and coincided exactly with the power returning.

All my equipment is on the same backup power so I doubt it's a power thing as all the other equipment was unaffected. Also we had loadshedding this morning at 2am again and this didn't happen then, so not sure what to think.
