We are all reliant on the same NLDs the FNOs use, the alternative would be to possibly flip back to KZN but it would be insignificant. Loads of IP changes etc.

If they unstable then the provider if it is DFA must take responsibility and replace them with a better product that is proven to work in coastal environments.

Unfortunately not so simple, there are basically 2 available direct routes. One built by Liquid (recently) the other by Openserve/Telkom. Not DFA in your case

Anyone else experiencing poor internet connection in the Pinelands area in Cape Town?
Frogfoot 100/100 trenched.
Rebooted router and ONT and it seemed ok for about 2 mins then back to a degraded state.
Edit: swapped Router and the problem went away

Same on my side in PE, dunno if its congestion or what. 14% packet loss in csgo rn
Which IP endpoints? Let me run a traceroute and see if I get the same. Might help pin point the issue

Which area are you in? We don't see any loss at the moment on international?
It seems FNO congestion is becoming a major issue again.

Try run some traces, we can see if it's obvious on the backhaul side.

My connection has been running pretty well since Thursday last week. Thankfully. Will keep an eye on this throughout the week this week.
I see a few comments regarding FNO congestion. Is there any actual indication of this, or visibility.
Just want to start planning ahead, in case this is a vumatel issue they're just not willing to correct, it would probably make sense to sign up with Open Serve.
