Are you seeing loss to different destinations when this happens or not as they are on different segments of the network.
It's been fine for like the last 30 minutes but I was also cutting out from Discord and the games I was playing when it happened.

To be fair Metrofibre have the same logic... someone i know was having problems and their fibre network pings was 70 to 80ms during peak hours and Metro was like this is fine everything is normal here... ooof kak one boet
Their stuck in the old mindset of as long as the customer is getting their speeds nothing else really matters.

I had a look at that Pingplotter test you posted and why is the second hop 10ms+ (compare it to the majority of recent posts only a few maintain under 4ms)

Here again too, down 10 - 12 minutes, intermittent. SADV/Vuma trenched, Edenburg (Rivonia). This is getting tiresome.

I see this now:

https://coolideas.co.za/announcements/7940

"Cool Ideas has picked up the following unconfirmed issue:

Date: 16/04/2021
Suspected Area/s affected: Johannesburg
Fibre Networks affected: Vumatel Villages
Suspect Impact: Customers on the above fibre lines in the above areas will experience no connectivity.

Cool Ideas network engineers along with Vumatel engineers are currently investigating.

There is no ETA"

With the number of outages this Vumatel/SADV link has i am starting to wonder if openserv is a better option. esp for us who work from home
