Alright yeah I see the issue. The VPN server IP is being announce on a very different path. Will sort it out.
Will you post here when tweaked? Showing the same abnormal pings this side with the VPN.

Had 2 more people complain about the higher latency again today in Apex on CI :/

OK, I have tweaked the routing for that subnet. Latency should be good now.

Yup looking good, and AWS looking back to normal ( via the VPN ) - just need to find the Google IP's somewhere...

You should be able to force traffic to your discord server by adding a route using an Administrator level command prompt.

route add 1.2.3.4 mask 255.255.255.255 192.168.1.1

Where 1.2.3.4 is the ip of your discord server, and 192.168.1.1 is the IP address of your CISP router.

@TheRoDent - Hi, we are currently on Supersonic, with LinkAfrica FNO. Customer support is practically non-existent. How quickly and effortlessly can we move to Cool Ideas? I understand that LinkAfrica is also selling off their FTTH infrastructure to MetroFibre Networks.

Hiya, it should be fairly easy to get it moved to us on the existing LinkAfrica system, after which it will move to MFN as part of a bulk migration.

You can simply ask connect@coolideas.co.za to assist you with signup, and migration.

Alright, let's try an experiment.

I've setup a VPN server in our UK Datacentre.

It is a Softether based server that will allow the Softether native protocol, L2TP (without IPSec), and MS-SSTP connections. You will be natted out to a CISP IP in our UK datacentre. The service is available only to CISP clients.

The username is "test" and the password is "test". The host to connect to is "ukvpn.cisp.co.za"

Please give me some feedback as to whether helps at all with game server selections.
Thanks for this. Will give it a shot with Modern Warfare 2019 as I play Ground War mode on EU servers and report back.

The native softether protocol works as well. I'm using the v5 off github.
For the built-in VPN client on Windows, MAC and android you need a preshared key configured? Make it test as well???

I'm not a fan of the changes made with Amazon today, whenever I play a Overwatch game it forces me onto Bahrain servers and I wait forever for games and I have seen an increase in my pings in other games
OMW, I've just opened a ticket on this now then came here. Glad to see im not the only one...

Queue times on middle eastern servers are 18-22 minutes for me. When switching to a London VPN, it puts me back to less than 5minutes

Pings are the same on both, 158ms

Check out the CISP VPN on the previous page for details and see if you similar results with the VPN you're currently using.
