Some of the root causes on NLD's to cape town from JHB over the years has been "cows ate the fibre", "bakkie crashed into a pole".Just to play devils advocate here, the sea doesn't reach Joburg where a lot of them "land".
they also have terrestrial legs on the route.
Worked on my laptop, didn't work on my Android phone. But that's not a train smash, laptop is the more important device.
Just check the app settings, it's probably set to just the DNS not the VPN.Worked on my laptop, didn't work on my Android phone. But that's not a train smash, laptop is the more important device.
So, is there no ETA for this to come up? Parklands we still down.

Thanks. Do you mean I need to enable "with WARP"? Because I already have that enabled. I tried it with and without WARP. Same difference.Just check the app settings, it's probably set to just the DNS not the VPN.
It never gets past "Updating connection info..." when switching it on.Thanks. Do you mean I need to enable "with WARP"? Because I already have that enabled. I tried it with and without WARP. Same difference.
When I connect to the vuma wifi, the Android system itself says there aint no internet, irrespective of whether or not 1.1.1.1 is active.
Also can't get to it from CPT
Interesting, I am in Midrand, also on MF
My Gqeberha home on Frogfoot fiber went down at around 20H00 this evening. Anyone else down in PE?
We can use NLD5/6 currently between KZN and CPT, but its super unreliabel.@TheRoDent and @PBCool can you guys maybe use the 2Africa cable when it comes online to carry traffic between CPT and KZN subsea ?
Then you can use KZN - JHB to bachaul as well as CPT - JHB and also CPT - KZN - JHB . That might help add some more resiliency to the NLD's because traffic can flow any direction. Might be difficult to engineer traffic but should be possible.
