I called to cancel my fibre line at the beginning of this month as I am moving home.

I then mentioned twice on a call that I still want to be a Cool Ideas customer and that I would like to setup a new connection to the home I am moving to, preferably on the 22nd if possible.

I have received no response for a new application. Does your team not want to keep a customer or something?

I have checked what cloudflare announces to us on our direct peering connection with them in Johannesburg.

As you can see 104.21 is missing. We have no control over what cloudflare announces to us, they decide how they want to steer traffic by announcing their routes to us. For whatever reason, they've decided to announce it to MTN, but not us, or Afrihost in JHB.

This could be due to capacity or other technical issues on their side. I'll ask our NOC to reach out to them, but it's not "ISP" routing as such. It's cloudflare routing.

I have also tested on Vodacom's network, and it routes internationally.

Hi, I did chat to our NOC the other day about it, as I'm unfortunately not included in the correspondence between CF and them, so I have followed up with the team quick to see if CF advised on anything as yet.

Not sure if Afrihost has had any luck though , will see

Edit: Feedback from the team advises Cloudflare has not responded as yet unfortunately, they have continued to follow up though.

Not sure where the issue is, but DStv Stream is buffering a lot while watching soccer. Happening every few minutes on channel 203

Still dead in the water... I see vuma closed an incident with the area this morning, but still nada. Have opened a ticket : #COOL-20240310-1685625
 
Hi everyone, kindly note that the Outage in Stellenberg, Stellenridge & Ridgeworth has been confirmed. The Vumatel techs are busy investigating.
