Cool Ideas Openserve April 1st price/speed increase

II got an email from Cool Ideas , would like to downgrade but can't find what other speeds they will offer after 1 April

I was interupted by loadshedding while posting above...
I found the Afrihost price changes for Openserve:

Afrihost will be charging R747 for 75/50 and Cool Ideas R850
The price difference for 50/ 25 was R749-R697=R52
The price difference for 75/50 will be R850-R747=R103

So now switching from Cool Ideas to Afrihost starts to make sense or am I missing something?

I haven't found the new prices and speeds on the Cool Ideas website, looks like they are trying to keep us in the dark....

Was on 50/50 for R819, fine with 75/50 for R850, but not 75/75 for R944.
Do I downgrade now to the 50/25 to be billed R850 and get 75/50? And just confirming as above there are no downgrade fees?

Also find it strange with such large gaps to Afrihost. Are there any real benefits to being with Cool Ideas over Afrihost in terms of the connection? I'll probably stay anyway since I am happy with the service (customer care and the actual fibre connection).

Yeah i've also noticed this. The price difference wasn't significant before between Afrihost, but now it is starting to get much larger. Will have to consider if it's still worth it.

So if you were on 100/50 then you can now move to 75/50 and save R99 and lose 25% of speed
Or pay extra R200 for faster connection
For some reason I feel Openserve did the upgrades in this way so people night avoid downgrading their speed to lower than they had

ended up upgrading to the 150/75 @ R1049 :/ meh...

I just did the same thing - From 50/50 down to 50/25, which should become 75/50. For only R31 more per month is fine.
