Reference current Thread E220 new Software?

I believe the embedded modem directives, discovered under "Device manager/Modems/Huawei/Properties/Modem/Diagnostics/Query Modem" indicates TSP initialisation corruption as relevant lines are missing on the log file.

I need one of my fellow techies to advise how to re-install/edit the relevant initialisation string as well as possibly access it to validate corruption.

Please read above mentioned thread to save any other suggestions etc already made and carried out besides the re-initialising option. :)

Posted as new thread to open source contributers to this subject.
Please move to main thread once resolved.:)

IC...
Thanx for your input.

Ref at top of input: RE: Thread E220 New Software?

IE. To expand on the request one may peruse the referenced thread without having to repeat the scenario. The call was for a techie with relative experience on string input onto modem command lines.

The objective was to top line the request out of the existing thread as the request required expertise outside the scope of the main subject.

The posting was suffixed with "Please remove once resolved"

Thank you IC the problem is now resolved and you may remove this headlined request thread. I will post the resolution into the original thread shortly. :)

@essexman Have you tried to reflash the e220 modem firmware & software ?? This should solve any modem problems. Download the host file from here and do a force reload.

http://www.huawei.com/mobileweb/en/doc/list.do?type=-1&id=736

I have also flashed an E220 many times, firmware & dashboard and have not had any problems.

Thank you Csnoopy, problem now resolved. Input ref yrs above... been there done that... got the Vodacom tee shirt... and gave the techie at Vodacare Durban a Hug... yeah.. well, not quite.. but problem sorted. Will be posted back into the original thread shortly. ;)
