Tx guys, seems like it is more a case of daddy didn't really think the kids would want to go and mommy rather not let them go.
I guess in reality your kids are only with you for 18 years and would you give it up?
Seems to me like a missed opportunity, but I don't have kids.
Maybe if the dad is settled in the kids go visit and what they turn 16 they can decide who they want to be with.
( the dad and his new wife has 2 kids as well)
