It's been a week like this and frankly it's pretty darn irritating.

What device are you using, and is there an antenna involved?

I'd like to understand the two results you got. The first looks like 3G-only while the second obviously is HSDPA.

Did you change anything or did you get the two results with the same setup?

I'm using a Nokia 6230i with GPRS/Edge available in my area. Full bars in terms of connection and bluetooth connection between PC and phone is maxed out at just under 1mb per sec....

Will have to do the speed test tonight when at home...

nope...same setup...the speed seems to drop and then shoot back up again...all in a couple of mins...been like that for the past 2 days...

but it seems to be more stable today...

Upload Speed: 238 kbps (29.8 KB/sec transfer rate)

after 5 mins...
