We have SBV and G4S picking up as little as R25k cash a day from businesses in armoured vehicles, yet these guys supposedly send more than 10 times that value...by ordinary courier? I dont believe it

If that happens any such employee should certainly take the matter to the CCMA since such tests are extremely unreliable. Without any actual evidence the employer will be on shaky ground relying solely on ”lie detector” tests.

The test isn’t evidence of anything. It would be completely pointless for the police to arrest them as they’d have absolutely no case.

The courier t&cs normally prohibit sending those goods in any case.

And it would have been sent overnight so that means it probably was flown and goes through the X-ray machine at the airport, naturally metals show up loud and clear on an xray…
Also the courier drivers will know who the sender is and what the contents potentially could be.

Weird story, glad the recipient is not taking it on the chin.

Not shady, just stupid to send 300k in gold via the cheapest courier company possible.
 
That is disappointing from The courier guy, I use them quite often. I used them just yesterday.

The Courier Guy, as do other courier companies, use contractors and in fact most of the fleet are contractors. So although TCG it's a contractor.
