Courier hijacking rise pushing up delivery fees

Hijackers working in organised criminal syndicates are increasingly targeting couriers delivering online orders in South Africa, and customers are among those paying the price for this crime.

Online shopping has seen explosive growth in South Africa over the past few years.

This is worrying considering it's one of the major reasons nobody wants to use the Post Office.

Once again, the hard working honest Joe Public must pick up the tab for guvmunt not tackling crime head on!
What are we paying taxes for?
Get your head out the sand guvmunt, create jobs, grow the economy and address crime and unemployment!
Are taxes not a crime committed under duress in any case?

Well this can be seen as the Isuzu DMax is now also on the double tracking requirement list with Santam and the rest of the insurers will follow suit very soon as they always do.
TCG switched to Isuzu 4+ years ago to prevent their fleet being targets for the vehicles and now where to.

Nothing is safe in this clowntree and we can't have anything that isn't under threat thanks to the anc and the cadres.

We can make a law where property has equal rights as life.

Two different tracking units from two different providers, fitted to one vehicle and both must be active.
Great so that they both end up useless and non functional?

I assume one simple signal jammer sorts them out.

Yip those illegal signal jammers block the signal of most makes.
I wonder if it'll block the Musk signals as well

They'll have to buy chinese vehicles...

You've always had them rock up without notifying you?

Aside from a generic automated notification for the day, I don't think any courier company actually has drivers phoning you to say they are 5-10 minutes away from your house. The next step for the syndicates is to infiltrate courier companies that use unmarked delivery vehicles and to intercept the delivery notifications so that they send their own unmarked vehicles to rob you when you open the gate for them expecting a delivery.
