Either way, running pirated software for commercial use, is a big no-no.
Privately or commercially, using someone else's property without their permission is a big no-no. Music, movies, streams or software, I don't allow unlicensed materials on my machines. Most people think this is stupid, and many then complain how the world is going to pot, never for a minute considering their own part in the destruction.

Which poses the question: If you're after an movie that is not available on DVD for purchase, or on any known streaming platform, nor on online stores? (iTunes, Google Play Movies), with the only option is the high seas?

I don't want to cause a debate, but just asking the question what you will do in such in a situation:
Sail the high seas and get a digital copy, or choose the option to abstain? I guess it depends on the material, but let's say it is a 1980's movie. I was forced into this situation once. Cannot remember what exactly I did, though.

It's either a principle, or it's not. I've made my choices - no stealing. Period.
