Let's hope the site was designed to keep that data private
The information asked for is Name, Surname, ID, cell number, Town and area where you live (address is optional), Medical Aid number if one is one medical aid. None of this I would consider to be private information.

"Other required information includes your primary employer and location of work, professional registration details, and medical aid."
This information is NOT being asked for. Maybe it depends on whether one is a health care worker, care giver, etc.

It is simple, straight forward, but asks that some information like cell number is entered twice, checking for correctness. It will take 5 to 10 minutes.

My company has already registered me a few months ago.
I got an SMS from the system but have heard nothing since.
Maybe I'd better go check..

(later) Hmmm..it allowed me to do a full registration.
Will I be able to get vaccinated twice?

I'm waiting for the one by Discovery. Our bunch of deployed cadres could not organize a pissup in a brewery.

Let me fix this Clickbait Headline.

"South Africans who want to receive a COVID-19 vaccine and are over the age of 60 can now register"

Sweet. Post your details as per the above here.

I'm sure someone would like to do a bit of Identity theft.

Are you for real?

It is open to all over 60. That is not all, and not only South Africans. Who writes the headlines?

What they probably meant was they now have over 60 doses available :p

The world: "We are proud to be have vaccinated people over 60 so far this year".

vs

RSA: "We are proud to be have vaccinated over 60 people so far this year".
