Creating a home wireless network, Connecting phone and PC to the network

I want to be able to connect my Wi-Fi enabled (802.11 b/g) phone to my PC at home so that I may fetch my emails and surf the web using my ADSL cap. I also may connect another PC to the wireless network.

I currently have a DSL router. Will it only be necessary to purchase a Wireless Access such as the D-Link DAP-1150 (802.11 b/g)?

Then I connect the wireless access point to my DSL router, and connect any devices I want to be able to use the internet to my Wireless access point?

Will this setup work?

Are there any special precautions that need to be taken with a wireless network i.t.o. security?

Not sure about the rest but you'll want to restrict access to WAN and make exceptions based on specific MAC addresses.
