Creative Inspire speakers in Cape Town

hey all

i'm looking for some Creative products in the Cape.. particularly the Creative Inspire 2.1 P380 Speaker System - http://www.sybaritic.co.za/store/product_info.php?manufacturers_id=39=Creative Labs&products_id=7490 - and the Creative Inspire 4.1 4400 Speaker System - http://www.sybaritic.co.za/store/product_info.php?manufacturers_id=39=Creative Labs&products_id=975 .

please also suggest other worthy speaker systems in the region of approx. R300 - R500. bear in mind that i want a Remote, i don't want to have to reach for the Sub on the floor to change the volume...

i have looked at Logitech, but i feel that you get a lot more from Creative for round about the same price.

i know there are a few other cheaper brands out there... any suggestions?

any help would be greatly appreciated

I guess it would be easier to buy from take2, then you wouldn't have to wait for courrier service etc. It is a bit more than Sybaritic, but add overnight shipping to Sybaritic and the price comes to about the same


Edit: except for the 4400 system, take2 are you m@d?

yeah i thought about those, but they're a bit pricey.

i have decided to opt for 'NUOPO E-022 5.1 CHANNEL' - look very nice, and the price is good too. they are R500. i spoke to http://www.sonicinformed.co.za and they say that they have sold quite a few and that noone has brought any back. so i just hope the quality is there!!

Don't overlook the Logitech Z-3's. They are 2.1, but are well made and look and sound awesome.

I used to have the Cambridge speakers and when I sold those off, I was also up in the air with either Creative or Logitech. I currently have the Logitech 2.1 (X230 I think), they aren't bad. Sound wasn't as deep and rich as the Cambridge. The Creative's should be close to/if not the same quality as the Cambridge. The prices aren't too bad either for the ones you are keen on.
