Creator of Star Wars show described as 'gayest' ever reacts to backlash, calls criticism ‘reductive’

An interesting piece with The Critical Drinker, Nerdrotic and others on the Piers Morgan show.

Yeah I know it's Piers Morgan but he actually comes off on the right side of this.

No, you're a libtard. It is a space opera.
Well, we were discussing narrative not genre but your'e still wrong. It's more a blend of sci-fi and fantasy in a spaghetti western setting but ain't much going to convince someone who uses the word "libtard" unironically.

ol Ernest is so completely divorced from reality outside of his fabulous little bubble it's sad.

I actually enjoyed the prequels.
I love all the movies tbh. Never understood all the hate.

The only thing I really hate is Hayden Christensen and the cringy romance scenes like where he feeds Padme an apple. Worst acting I've ever seen.

I don't see how you could realistically praise the sequels. Just off the top of my head; they retconned themselves, wasted characters (Finn, Snoke), and destroyed Luke's legacy to the point that not even Mark Hamill could hide his disappointment.

That is on George Lucas, he is terrible at writing dialogue. He was at his best when he filtered his ideas through someone else. See Empire.

Hayden is good when given the dark sides of Anakin/Vader, which unfortunately was only towards the end of Revenge of the Sith and cameos in Obi Wan and Ahsoka.

I'm not THAT into Star Wars that I care about that stuff. The movies are all awesome and fun to watch, all that really matters imo :)

I think one was changed to silver when he was put back together by Chewbacca?
this, whats more surprising is C3po does not remember tattoine at all, even though Anakin built him from nothing,
same with R2, they both been on tattoine a few times and somehow dont remember it at all.

The leg-thing is one of those "Fake Mandela Effects" that float around every now and then
